Hacking Question I am very confused with backing up NAND and restoring it to play Fortnite.

Store one copy of your NAND backup on your computer and another copy on a USB stick taped to your Switch.

Copying your NAND backup to both your computer and USB stick every time you make one is inconvenient but safer. If your computer or USB stick fuck up, you will still have easy access to another copy of your NAND backup. The chance of both fucking up at the same time is negligible.

Normally I would recommend storing a third copy in a different physical location but not this time. If your house gets robbed or hit by a natural disaster, your Switch will be gone making the NAND backup useless.

Your switch has very very small hardware fuses. After an update your switch will boot to OFW with Nintendo boot loader. It detects that there are too less fuses. For example you upgrade from 5.0.0 to 7.0.0. 5.0.0 has 6 burnt fuses. 7.0.0 has 9 burnt fuses. Your switch will detect that your on 7.0.0 but only have 6 burnt fuses and burn three more. The problem is now that if you restore your 5.0.0 backup and want to boot without payload, your switch will see that your on 5.0.0 with 9 burnt fuses and therefore stay at black screen. SX OS doesn't magically solve this issue but allows you to have SysNAND and EmuNAND. If you want to keep your fuses not burnt, you have to install autoRCM and update with ChoiDujourNX to make sure autoRCM is installed after update. Because if you update without ChoiDujourNX, autoRCM is gone after update.

Nooo... if Nand restoration takes like an hour when I have a normal sandisk ultra micro SD card, I just have to be patient for SX OS because it would be very annoying... studies....

No, your profile picture is not ugly.
What is a USB stick taped to Switch?
My computer won’t fuck up and no, there wouldn’t be another robbery^_^

With SX OS you can use clean SysNAND for Fortnite and EmuNAND for CFW.
Yes... it’s very annoying to wait an hour, so I’ll just wait till July/August..

Guys, I am desparate...

With this amount of questions your asking, yes it's good that your asking and to get good advise from fellow members, but personally, sorry to say this, your going to stuff something up. Either with a brick, get banned or anything else that could go wrong.

I hacked my other things as well. I’m not sleeping, I will successfully hack it. Besides, I have asked a million questions for my 3DS CFW when it was making problems and people have always responded, so my 3DS was successfully working

Hey guys, how much time does SX OS take when backing up and restoring emunand? Does it require more than one SD card or something like copying and pasting again and again over PC?Or is there a switching option between these?

And I was wondering, do you get banned if you use hbgshop but never go online in that NAND??
