Gaming I am thinking of buying a new ds?

Hello All I am thinking of buy a new DS because my ds lite hinge snapped for the first time ever
I really like the new R4 firmware WOOD R4 but I need good updates and compatbility fixes sorry if my english is bad
but anyways I was wondering to get a DSi XL and buy a Supercard DSTWO or a DS lite and stick to r4?
what do you think I should do??

You can use SuperCard DSTWO on DS Lite.

You need to ask yourselves is it hard for me to play on DS Lite? Do you have difficulties reading text on Lite? If so go for the XL. If not stay with it.
