That's good to hear, because the Ultra II is only 44 bucks at bestbuy right now! it's on sale. I'm rushing out to buy one asap [IMG]

You mean there's a good chance a Sandisk at Best buy is fake?????? Are you sure? I can't imagine Bestbuy selling fake memory sticks. My brother bought one two days ago and we used his to make a MMS.

No, despite their many corporate evils, big box stores do not sell counterfeit merchandise.

That's what I thought, thanks for clearing that up Diglett. Bestbuy may be many things, but that's the last place I'd expect a fake Sandisk

Bestbuy do NOT sell fakes. Everyone I know in Miami, FL with a PSP has bought their's at Best Buy, the Sandisk, and they work fine.

Whoever says elsewise was either victim to a shelfing error, or is lying.
If it doesn't work you can take it back as such anyhow, and point it out.

Ah, well someone probably returned a fake memory stick in place of a real one.

And in that case, you can simply tell them that it's fake. Hopefully as long as you're not crazy enough to have kept it for 90 days and just thought "What the hell, I can't do anything" , if you've been ripped, you have a receipt for a reason.

I don't see how that could be, the pack is a blister pack and the only way to open it is to cut it all up. How would they put a fake one in there and return it? Unless Altorn bought an open package for a discounted price? Either way, you better return that thing.

I know they accept open packaging, but obviously this guy would know if he bought an opened one that they put back on the shelf. He didnt mention that in his post, so I dont think it was an open item that he bought. I could be wrong though, he hasn't clarified yet.
