Hacking I am currently on 9.2.0 should I update for flipnote + redeem my coins

I am on 9.2.0 I was planning on buying cubic ninja eventually but then Nintendo ends club Nintendo I have a bunch of coins on their and now I can't use them I have been waiting for flipnote for over 2 years and now I can't get it. Try and convince me not to update keep in mind I don't actually own cubic ninja yet.

At minimum I'd use the Gateway launcher to get a backup of a vulnerable NAND, in case you really want it later. If you have that, you can have someone hard mod your 3DS and flash back to a vulnerable firmware if you choose to. Or just get a Gateway now and have all the associated benefits.

Thanks, the gateway is out of my budget. I'll just borrow my sisters unused pink 3DS XL for flipnote I guess. Not a big deal. I think I've decided hopefully the gamestop near me has cubic ninja in stock (they won't) or I'll just order from Amazon since the price has gone down.

eBay is pretty cheap as well, around $15 or $20 depending on the day.

not really, gateway can do everything you can with ninjhax, but some ppl wont buy gateway because its promoting a "business that only wants to make money and dont care about us"

If that's their problem, why did they buy a 3DS in the first place? There is no better description for Nintendo right now than this:
