Homebrew I am a Bit Lost Around Here [10.5 Homebrew Assistance]

Well, I'm doing my best to get into the hacking scene, but I need a wee bit of assistance which I can not find. I have an old 3DS on Ver. 10.5.0-30U and I am wondering what I can do (if I can even do it) to get this 3DS into the Homebrew Launcher. I have no way of entry besides browserhacks (to my knowledge, this is now broken). All I'm asking is if someone can point me into the right direction.

Browserhax isn't broken on 10.5. It's 10.6 and above. If you have the nag follow this https://www.google.com/webhp?source...pv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF-8#q=browserhax bypass nag. Download the starter kit from smealum.github.io/3ds/ and just copy the files into your SD card. Go to https://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php on your 3ds then or just scan the qr code and then you're golden

Would updating NVer and all that help?

You can wait for Yellows8's thing or you can update the NVer.

Though I can't guarantee you that the last one is 100% safe.

That was correct a few weeks ago, but 9.9-10.5 has a workaround: set the date and time on your 3DS to 1/1/2000, 00:00, then go into the browser, format the save data (this does not mean format the console, just the data in the browser itself), and attempt browserhax.

Enter the browser settings and go to Reset Save Data.

Should be under settings. I think it's called "initialize savedata" or "reset savedata".

Yeah that's the one, sorry. Couldn't remember the exact wording. It's reset savedata on higher browser versions.

Oh yes, I'm in homebrew launcher, I see many different programs, I also see "menuhax_manager v2.1" it that's of any significance.

Hmm, if I follow this tutorial (besides the way to get into the Homebrew Launcher) would I be able to downgrade?

It should work for 10.5, did you install menuhax? That's needed. Wait for someone else to clarify that this tutorial works with 10.5

You do not need menuhax. Get the version of sysupdater that utilizes svchax/memchunkhax 2.5 or whatever u want to call it, and the correct firmware cia files.
