Hacking I accidently update my 3ds offical filmware to 9.5.0-22U before updating nand

if you buy a new 3DS it's impossible to downgrade it any lower than it came with, even though you have a 9.2 backup, since the backups are locked to the 3DS.

This is not true I bought a brand new 3ds xl with 8.1U and downgraded to 4.2u just two days ago.

There are no systems that have over 9.1 that are new. At this time you can buy any system anywhere in the world and its hackable

No, probabilities that gateway support sysnand 9.5 anytime soon is near zero. It took them near 2 years to support 9.x, and each new firmware reduces possibilities of exploits.

I still have difficulties to understand how one can accidentaly update his 3DS when the 3DS ask twice before running the update :/

But yeah, as said before, only two possibilities :

- Get a hardmod installed on your 3DS.
- Sell your actual 3DS and buy a new one.

Nope, you need a hardware nand mod. I did one so I never have to worry about firmware. On 4.2 forever!

That kinda question can't even be answered at a time like this....all these future questions are basically n/a.

He probably didn't realize he was in sysnand and not emunand.....

Everyone should always check twice :/ I'm maybe a bit too careful but I always go the update page, then I go back to the main page and check if I'm still on emunand to be sure, before updating.

Not to mention it's pretty easy to notice it now, as you can put a different theme for each if you unlink sysnand and emunand.

its not that evil gamestop is not really out any thing they get a 3ds back thats the same model and color (probably a better one then they are selling) its just updated. its not like you are walking in the store and stealing it. the evil advice would be
steps
1.format your 3ds
2.go to walmart buy a 3ds that matches yours
3. switch back plates then systems
4. return 3ds opened
