Were you using .cia or .3ds rom?

You might get away with it. But not if you do that again.
    Good luck

Wait that's an issue? I've got all my games as CIA
Do I need a private header?

Cia games don't need private headers but .3ds and .3dz roms do

You're not getting banned because you went online without a header just once. I mean, you actually can be banned, but the chances are low. Just make sure not repeat this. I went online once in Pokemon ORAS and I didn't get banned.

Monster hunter games use Capcom servers so the risk might be lower. Either way, get that fixed.
