hwfly 4.2 guide for noob

I'm new to switch hacking. Recently I bought hwfly 4.2 (as far as i understand, please some one confirm that i will attach picture of it) from aliexpress. so i have few questions.

1. Before soldering mod chip i need to update switch? as far as i know, i need to update it, can some one confirm that?
2. Before soldering mod chip i need to update mood chip? I heard two opinions one is u don't need to, other i need to do update, if so i need to update with hwfly-nx 0.7.2 or Spacecraft-NX 0.2.0 or something else?
3. After everything is done i know i need to create emuMMC, how i should do that?

1. not really, you can always update your emunand later with daybreak.
2. your chip is upgradable, just update to latest version of hwfly-nx with the usb dongle
