Hi guys i have a problem related to my hp printer and adobe reader. Whenever i try to print something in color using my hp it takes the paper in and doesn't print anything just hangs and i have to hard reset it back to normal. The same thing will print fine using my brother for black and white. Both are inkjets and i have the latest reader.I checked on Google and there are similiar problems but none of the threads ever got solved. Thanks in Advance!

Perhaps try a good PDF reader?
Two of my chosen ones

Unless you are doing proper high end work (in which case you would not be using an inkjet and HP would be hurriedly sending an engineer round to say hello) then those two are fine.

After this HP drivers are awful and the way some PDF files/the way the print/use printer functions can easily cause what you are seeing. If you are using the drivers from a CD then grab the newest ones from their website.
Equally if you can (and HP do like to wind their stuff in everywhere- I have certainly spent more time fighting their nastiness than I care to think about right now) then try doing that and sticking with the bog standard windows print options.

Bonus points- if it is vital have a go with a linux live CD- for all the abuse CUPS gets it has been known to solve headaches like this.
