Compare size when the file is zipped vs unzipped or just look at it under a hex editor.

I really don't think it matters much because only the exefs is optionally compressed, and it's generally only about 2-6 MBs total size anyway. I think CIA's are always encrypted by the time they're stored on the sd card/nand.

I was talking about the whole rom, I know exefs is compressed via zlib basically. But the game in it's raw formwhen unencrypted compresses well whereas when encrypted it doesn't compress at all. During install it's going to encrypt it, so it's basically just me storing the file before installatino.
