Hacking How would i unbrick a n3ds using A9HL? (Safety & Prevention)

if thats the case how come decrypt9 wont read any of my gateway backup?

Something is wrong with your backups/decrypt9 version.

But Decrypt9 is perfectly able to use these backups, I used them (and a lot of people did too) without any issue.

Now i havent bricked my N3ds, but i just would like to know and be ready for anything nintendo or... Gateway Throws at me. so how do we unbrick uning A9HL? or is it not even ready yet?

As you aren't bricked, follow these short steps:
Step 1. Boot into Decrypt9WIP using a9lh.
Step 2. Go to SysNAND Options.
Step 3. Go to NAND Backup/Restore.
Step 4. Select Backup. Wait for it to finish.
Step 5. After you sysNAND is dumped into a .bin file, make sure it is a good sysNAND backup by comparing its size to the sizes on this page. If you have a good sysNAND backup, proceed.
Step 6. Put your SD Card into your PC.
Step 7. Copy/Paste (and don't cut paste) the backup on your Computer . Once its done, Delete the Bakup from your SD.
Step 8. UPLOAD your sysNAND backup to a Cloud, copy it onto all of your Hard drives, copy it onto all of your flash drives, and hell yeah store it in every place you find.

When you brick:
Step 1. Get your sysNAND backup onto your SD Card
Step 2. Boot into Decrypt9WIP using A9LH
Step 3. Goto sysNAND Options.

Step 5. Restore your sysNAND backup from the sysNAND.bin on your SD Card.

If your FIRM 0 and FIRM 1 partitions are not bricked, you can
EDIT: BSOD bricks cant be restored using A9LH. That will require a Hardmod + RasPi/Arduino.

BSOD = Bootrom error = Bootrom can't read your NAND at all

I guess they'd be fucked, unless it were possible to use another device's nand backup(which I'm pretty sure isn't)

or they might have emunand, which they can flash to sysnand
