*UPDATE: April 8, 2023*
Hi. Before 2022, I made my first Wii injector program which is usually for YouTube videos to be converted from Shockwave Flash to WADs (Wii channels) and now yesterday I've released an update for it and it comes with the Windows installer this time and you need to have 2 clones of your SWF files. You can only have one so far.
Here's the things you need:
1. YouTube video
2. SWF Converter
3. My program, you know, the YouTube video SWF [Shockwave Flash] Wii WAD injector.
STEP 1: Installing the YouTube Video SWF [Shockwave Flash] Wii WAD Injector program
Here's the download link for the YouTube Video SWF [Shockwave Flash] Wii WAD Injector:
https://gbatemp.net/download/youtube-swf-wii-wad-injector.37960/
STEP 2: Turning off your Anti-virus
Well, you don't have to though, but if your anti-virus detects that you're aren't able to start the program & not have an inappropriate way, make sure you turn off your anti-virus just incease.
STEP 3: Downloading a YouTube video & converting it to MP4
Go to www.youtube.com & go find a video you want to inject or if you use YouTube-DL, you could use that program. Also please make sure, once again that the video is 5 minutes or short due to the MBs, and the Wii can only handle the SWF [Shockwave Flash] file being 15 MBs [15,234] or lower MBs. If the MBs is more than 15 or lower, then your WAD won't work on your Wii console. Also please make sure you choose either 480p, 360p, 240p, or 144p.
For 5 minutes, choose 240p or 144p.
For 4 minutes, choose 240p or 144p.
For 3 minutes, choose 360p, 240p, or 144p.
For 2 minutes, choose 480p, 360p, 240p, 144p.
For 1 minute, choose 480p, 360p, 240p, 144p.
For seconds, choose 1080p [HD], 720p [HD], 480p, 360p, 240p, 144p.
For 1080p & 720p though, the FPS will be slow but the audio will be fine. I recommend you use 480p, 360p & 240p for better FPS. But for 144p, which is bad quality. The FPS is either 10 or 15 FPS. For the qualities & minutes though. I recommend you go to Y2meta, some other site that supports it, or an application you use.
STEP 4: Converting MP4 to SWF.
Alright, so you now understand step 3? Okay then, you're good to go. Use either a software/application you use for the conversion like Adobe Media Encoder or any other software, or a website that has the conversions.
WARNING!
If you use Convertio.co for the MP4 to SWF conversion, when you test your WAD out, there's 99% chance that the audio will go left behind & weird sound glitches as well. I recommend you use a different site, otherwise use the Aconvert site for the conversion like I use. Once you're done converting your MP4 file to SWF. Make sure you save it somewhere on your computer.
STEP 5: Installation and Setup
Extract the ZIP archive & open the installer, hit next, until it installs it on your computer and uncheck the launch and click finish once is done installing.
STEP 6: Copying & pasting your SWF file in the SWF input folder.
Copy the SWF you just did in step 4 & paste it in "C:/Program Files (x86)/YouTube Video SWF Wii WAD Injector\SWF_INPUT".
STEP 7: Injecting the SWFs into a WAD.
Open up the exe file & press enter when you're ready & the command will unpack the WAD. Once it checks the SWF files from the SWF input, press enter to continue. Next, it will ask you if you want to inject the SWF, press "Y" for yes. Once it is succeed, go to the next one. Then, the command will pack the WAD after you have injected your SWFs, press enter. After that, it will ask you if you want enter a new ID for your WAD. I recommend you do. Once you're done entering your ID, press "Y" again for Yes.
STEP 8: In the finish line!
And now & you're done! Install your injected WAD on your Wii, vWii, or Dolphin. For vWii & Wii, make sure you have a brick-protection/anti-brick such as Priiloader, BootMii & Dump Mii NAND (vWii only) before you install your WAD. Have fun making YouTube injects & I hope you enjoy.
