    i have a EeePC with ubuntu 11.4 but the wireless have disappeared sinds the update from v10.10 to v11.4
    Im now on internet via cable, How can i change it back to wireless?

    You need to reinstall the drivers, try looking in "Systeem -> Beheer -> Hardwire Drivers" (not sure, I don't use Ubuntu anymore).

    Trying to remember the most of ubuntu from mind... you may have to check that the wireless card is installed. You should see a wireless sign on the top of the screen.

    You're gonna have to download the drivers again, but... that shouldn't happen.

    Check to see if there are any underlying problems.

    You use the utility that the first reply mentioned. There's a program to download the drivers, built-in to Ubuntu. Something like "Hardware Drivers" or "Additional Drivers" or something.

    i dont know what to do the software is fucked up
    is there maybe a source code to downgrade?
    EDIT: never mind i downgraded it already by removing the drive and installing everything [​IMG]
