vnc is a client/server app - sounds like youve downloaded the client to your wii, now its time for the server to be running on your pc.

download realvnc server if your on windows. download vine server if you are on mac.

and ultra vnc if you are on linux...

if you intend to connect to a computer not on your local network then you have to make sure that that computers port 5900 is forwarded.

you could set an optional password using the server program on the host computer.

find out your computers local ip address and input it and password into wiivnc and click connect.

WiiVNC is cool but it's kind of a pain using the wii remote as a mouse. Hard to keep it steady. I also experienced random crashes where I had to power down and back up at the console.

To get your computer's IP address go to a command prompt and type "ipconfig".

If you're on XP: Start ---> Run ----> Open: cmd

Make sure if you're running a firewall you have it set to let in your wii.
