Hacking how to use the new gateway omega 2.4b

so, i have a 3ds with 9.0.0 - 20 U. and i bought a gateway. i saw some articles on how to use gateway, but they seem outdated. on the website it says gateway supports 9.x, so how do i use it? i ordered one, it should be here soon.

It was talking about emunand... An updated version of the 3DS firmware is ran from the SD card but the actual firmware on the 3DS itself has to be 4.1 - 4.5

because the way it works is that you need 4.5 to use the mset exploit, to gain privs, to run the cfw.. the cfw being emunand..emunand allows you to use the custom themes and all that jazz that comes with sysnand 9.x

Gateway has a separated Nand, that he can install if your 3DS is on 4.5
Then, you update that separated nand to 9.X, but the console stays at 4.5 if you power it off and turn it back on. It's just a temporary nand.

Gateway has 9.X support, that means it can update it's emunand.
Even on the website it says: Works on 3DS & 3DS XL (Firmware 4.1-4.5)

Gateway supports 9.X on emuNAND. But on the sysNAND (which your console needs to be) it only works up until 4.5.

It's easier for your to search for a 4.1-4.5 3DS, used or something like that. I might be wrong, but everyone who has a 4.5 already have their own gateway...

You might want to keep your eye on sky3DS (It apparently works on 9.0.0 - 20 U), no one knows if it is real yet though.

Gateway 3ds only work with 3DS v4.1.0 ~ v4.5.0.

I'm seeing a few saying $75, and a few saying $120, but with a monopoly on the higher firmware updates they can charge whatever people are willing to pay.
