Hacking How to use save from a 3ds to another 3ds? Gateway red Cart type 2 game

Trying to transfer save file from a 3ds to another 3ds, Going to use the same gateway cart.
Game media type is 2. Monster hunter X
Playing games through gateway cart .3ds format
O3DS -> N3DS

Does different emunand firmware matter for transferring saves?

Trying to use savedatafiler but it says Ctr card broken

I'm also going to use the same gateway cart to play on the N3DS as the O3DS, so I'm using the exact same rom file.
If it's type 2, why doesn't my save work from the N3DS? It's using the same rom file.

Found the correct titleID for Monster hunter X under USER in savedatafiler. But the save is "--broken--" so I can't export it.

EDIT: Found out MHX uses unique exdata : https://gbatemp.net/threads/mhx-save-editing.404280/

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
