Hacking How to use ocarina cheats for usb loader gx

I click ocarina on my settings for my game and i turn the cheats that i want on. But when i start the game my cheats aren't activated can someone help me.

P.s i really don't need anyone to come on here with a BS speech about cheating. I'm using it for offline brawl with friends so this is a future fk off.
