Hacking How To Use ClrMamePro w/ NDS DATs

Call me a n00b but I've been failing miserably trying to get my roms renamed and sorted for the last few days.

Can anyone provide a basic "how-to" for using ClrMamePro w/ the PocketHeaven NDS DAT files? ...and which DAT files I need? There's 3-4 different DAT files listed on the website.

Also, do any of the known NDS renamers support compressed / uncompressed roms? I have some in 7-zip format while the rest are simply in .nds uncompressed format.

I take it not many use ClrMamePro for rom renaming? I can see why... it's quite difficult to get to work.

On the other hand, I was able to get RomCenter to work with uncompressed roms using the PocketHeaven DAT file.

Can you tell RomCenter how to rename though? I only see options for capitalizing / case sensitive options when renaming.

Kinda sad no-one replied to this. I was waiting for some explanation as well. I've used ClrMamePro with MAME ROMs before, but I never really understood things fully.

Personally, I use ADVANsCEne's NDSCrc for NDS ROM management. Sadly, it only supports zipped ROMs.
