Homebrew How to use a Gateway on 10.1?

Hello,

I'm using Menuhax, and I wanted to buy a Gateway.
My question is: Can I install a Gateway on 10.1? How ? And, is it and good idea? Because, I want to download games, and play them, but if it don't work...

No, you can't. Gateway is only compatible with sysNAND 9.2 or less.
Your only solution to play "backups" is Sky3DS at the moment.

Sadly, Gateway only works with firmwares up to 9.2.
All firmwares that are 9.3 and above are not supported yet.

The best you can try is to install some form of *hax 2.5 and enjoy Homebrew.

Yes, you can, but only .3ds (cartridge ROM) files ; .cia files (e-shop games) won't work.

Be aware that some of the latest big games, and more games in the future, won't work on Sky3DS. It will play all earlier cart releases tho.
