What was the error?
You wouldn't happen to have had another save file along with the *hax save file, did you?
Because if you did, then you wouldn't have had enough space left on the cartridge to transfer the payload to it :/ I should have told you to remove any save files other than the *hax save file, but I went under the assumption that if you were using oot3dhax, that you only had the *hax on it.
As you are on new 3DS, you should be able to use smashhax, if you can get a linux distribution working with a wi-fi card. Otherwise, if you know someone else with a new 3DS, if they are under 10.2 they should be able to use browserhax to re-install oot3dhax (or under 9.9, if they have an O3DS.)
Otherwise, if you have an original DS or a DS Lite with a DS flashcard, it is possible to re-install the exploit from there, but you will have to cut off the little tab on the side of your OoT3D cartridge so that it can fit inside the DS. There is a DS homebrew that -should- let you restore one of the *hax save file images to the cartridge.
It's not that simple, because the 3DS (and the DSi) don't allow you to just swap DS cards while you already started up a game (in this case, the flashcard) in DS mode.Could the OP use his ds flash cart with a save manager with just the 3ds? Pop in the flashcart and boot into ds mode > start ds mode save homebrew > install save to cart

Ironhax doesnt work with the latest one no. and oot3dhax does work with o3ds.Does oot3dhax work on o3ds?
Does ironhax work on the latest ironfall?

Thanks for this Kenseiden! I will try it in a little bit.Yes, you can use another system to install the 10.3 payload. I did the very same thing with a 9.9 2DS to install the 10.3 payload on OoT when I accidentally messed up my Ironhax entry point.
Yep, I did this too on 10.2. Friend pulled through for me and trusted me I would properly restore his save with powersaves haha! (When actually doing it I ended up backing up his oot with powersaves, svdt AND SaveManager but only one of three is really needed)Can I install the oot3dhax on one system on 9.2 and use the 10.3 exploit and then give it to my sister because she has no other entrypoint.
If you have a Powersaves, might as well inject a save file that has the 10.3 payload in it (if that's what you mean by Action Replay.)I want to update to 10.3 as well. I installed homebrew via OOTD with an Action Replay so I have an injected save for 10.1 in the cartridge. Will the mentioned method work? Just switching the payloads?

If you really want to use that method to change the payloads, then yeah, should be able to go on Smealum's website to get the correct payload, name it payload.bin and put it on your SD card. With svdt make sure the only thing you have on the cartridge is the *hax save file (the one with the idleaway************* name, it'll be save00.bin, save01.bin or save02.bin depending on which save slot it was installed to.)
Make sure all you have is payload.bin, system.dat (not sure what this does but it's there) and save00/01/02.bin because that's all you can fit on the save data. Delete the payload in the cartridge with svdt (X) and then copy the 10.3 one over from the SD card (Y)
Won't work anymore after that, but once you update your 3DS to 10.3 it should work. Gotta make sure you only have the idleaway save file, the payload.bin and the sytem.dat, because if you have any other save files, it'll give you an error and svdt will crash out, and then if it crashes when you try to load svdt again, you'll be in trouble because you're out of homebrew launcher now and can't get back in. Fortunately, you said you jave another method of injecting hax save file with the payload, so if the svdt method messes up, you can re-inject that save file and try again (or just directly inject a 10.3 payload save file)
