@Title

Do I just extract with Winrar = Original ISO ?

or

I have to do something with the WiiScrubber program?

Thanks in advanced!

Why would you even want to revert to a full image?
Because that's the untouched ISO, I believe.

But that unscrub really get you back the data that has been scrubbed? So the CRC is the same with the untouched ISO? If so, then... how?

Okay... but if it's just junk data, what good is having it back?

I'm pretty sure a scrubbed image can be modified, patched, etc.

I think it's good to be able to have the junk data.. Ninty could at any time release a firmware that random checks games, and if the junk code isn't where it should be, the game would stop. It's basically future-proofing wiiscrubbed games.

They would need to own the DIF file for each game, about 1Go per game so every time you load a game the Wii would need to download 1Gb to check if the junk data has been modified (the junk data isn't deleted, it's filled with FF to make it compressible).

So it's impossible, completely impossible.

anyone know how to compress the iso itself? i don't care if it's a tad larger then the winrar files, it just saves me about 20 mins when I can directly burn / apply patches on my server without having to extract it.

I don't need to unscrub to get the original iso than burn? I can just burn the scrubbed image? at 4x.
Yes. Burn at the rated speed of the discs using Imgburn.

wait! really i thought you needed to unscrub before you burned your wii game? but then again if i did have to unscrubb i would need the diff file which i dont have.

also on the side note im new to this so can anyone answer my question?
can you scrub GC games?
and i got this one game but when i extracted the archive there was another one inside and theres nothing inside that one, but it is 4.3 gigs so is that the game itself?
also how do you burn multiple gc games into one disk?

@ZXero not entirely sure about the need for a massive bump either but OK.

1) Scrubbed games are no different to normal games, the only reason for the diff files is if you want to restore it for some reason (archival purposes I guess, there is no other reason for it).

2) GC games: they work differently to wii games. You appear to be wanting this:
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/GCMUtility
or this:
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/GCM

As for your "archive in an archive": we tend to use the .iso extension and a year or two back winrar and 7zip and a bunch of other compression programs (which you will probably be using) added support for "normal" iso files, as console isos are not "normal" it would appear as though the file is corrupt or there is nothing in there.

Multiple GC games are taken care of with various tools, start here:

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
