PS1/2 How to transfer PSX memory card saves to PC and vice versa?

well, I could walk you through getting the file from another format or something through hex, but you do need access to the data in some way.

@MetoMeto, use Memory Card Annihilator to make an image of your memory card. It will dump it to an .MCR file. You can then browse the file for individual saves (.MCS) using MemcardRex. I have also attached my version of ulaunchELF, see if it makes a difference. Also, if the PS1 memory card can be seen in the Browser, you could try copying the saves to a PS2 memory card; then you could copy the PS1 saves from the PS2 memory card using ulaunchELF.

btw, you need the file name intact. iirc, it's not in hex anywhere, so if you lose that, the save is history.

I'm ordering a original Sony memory card in a few days, so ill try it like that since this clone obviously doesn't work.

It can not be seen anywhere on PS2 console. I'm ordering new one.
