Is there any way to know what type of SAVE files to choose for each game i put on my card rather than guessing if i get problems later down the line? So far ive had to select different types for WALL-E and mario kart but is there a reason they use different types and how to detect which type to use?

Sorry for sounding like a thick plank but ive always used R4 and DSTT in past and those cards did everything for me so never needed to know.

    Any help is much appreciated

    Thanks

You could just play the game and save the game at the earliest save point.
If it doesn't work or something then try another savetype.
