Hacking Question How to tell if you are in emuMMC and nsp installation?

I just setup emuMMC with the latest Atmosphere/Kosmos and I have a couple of questions.

1. The guide I was following said that after I created my emuMMC partition and booted into it that I would have to set my Switch up again, but it seemed to boot into sysnand cfw. My question here is how would I know for sure that I'm in my emuMMC and is the behavior I stated previously intended?

2. Where do I install nsp at when I am in emuMMC? To the SD card or nand (which I assume is the emuMMC)?

1. Just give emunand a black theme and sysnand a white theme.

2. If you are on emuMMC it doesn’t matter nand/sd card installation its all on sd card.

you can set the theme to white or black depending on whether you're in emuNAND or stock, that's what I use to see what mode I'm in. Also, installing to nand while you're in emuNAND will just install to the nand partition of the SD card anyway everything is already redirected to your SD card

You can have different themes. Also, if you have EmuMMC enabled, you can't boot to SysNAND CFW (without doing it manually) so you can always go settings and check if there is AMS version writen.
