Hacking How to Swap the files in Mario Kart 8? - Cafiine

1.- I want to change the Voice clips or Music from Mario Kart 8

2.- If you can help me, that will be awesome!

3.- I really appreciate if you help me, this thread will also help others.

4.- I already change the music from [Super Smash 4 Wii U] so I think it's different folders to do MK8

In this case, for Custom Music. You need to grab the game's ID (You can do it by entering Cafiine, it will print the game's ID as: Title ID. )

In Cafiine_root, create a folder with the game's ID. (My Mario Kart 8 is NTSC-US , so it's ID is 00050000-1010EC00).

Inside the folder, create these folders in order: /vol/content/audio/stream

Inside the stream folder, you can insert the BFSTM files with their filename.

Just a heads up; it takes time to get a reply. Don't worry if you don't get a quick reply.

Oh, also, the voice clips aren't editable right now. They are contained in "vol/content/audio/driver" and all inside .bars files, and while you can swap them, you can't make new voices. Use SARCTools to pack/repack them.
