Gaming how to send units to 2ndary battle front in AA

I'm stuck on a leve where I need to send units to the 2ndary battle front in Advanced Wars but I dont know how.

Are there only certain units that I can send up?

You just send them up where you build units or your hq. I think you can send any unit.

so the units has to be on the HQ building before the option to send them appear? And also from the factory/airport?

From memory when I last sent them to the other battle front, i didnt move them and the option came up next to Wait.

You can send them on factories, HQ, and maybe Airports/seaports. You can't send them back to first front, though, so be careful.
