I just did what zapu says, and it works great, and I've seen a few people have this problem on the forum. I just try to explain it step by step, hope it will be helpful for noobs like me. Many thanks to zapu. Good trick.
1) Download multi_cios installer through his link and run it. http://www.sendspace.com/file/pti2yv
2) It shows the usual "use at your own risk" msg, don't just press A now, instead press left on d-pad until it shows "install ios 36 with dip module as ios232", then press A to install it. Exit after it's done.
3) Run "softchip" ( download it if you don't have it already), press "+", now you can select what ios you want to launch your game upon. Press left, and select "ios232". Then press A to launch your game.
I tested it with a lan adaptor and CoD:waw.
