I just did what zapu says, and it works great, and I've seen a few people have this problem on the forum. I just try to explain it step by step, hope it will be helpful for noobs like me. Many thanks to zapu. Good trick.

1) Download multi_cios installer through his link and run it. http://www.sendspace.com/file/pti2yv
2) It shows the usual "use at your own risk" msg, don't just press A now, instead press left on d-pad until it shows "install ios 36 with dip module as ios232", then press A to install it. Exit after it's done.
3) Run "softchip" ( download it if you don't have it already), press "+", now you can select what ios you want to launch your game upon. Press left, and select "ios232". Then press A to launch your game.

I tested it with a lan adaptor and CoD:waw.
(Sorry for my broken english)

But you are running CoD:waw off of a disc, correct? The problem is running a game that uses a mic (or other USB device) while running that game with the USB loader.

I don't think that's something can be done yet. But at lease you get to use the usb devices when you want to (without losing the usb load capability to other games) while waiting for the release of rev10:)

Theoretically SoftChip works correctly with usb peripherals since R88 even with the rev9 cIOS for the usb loader. (no that doesn't mean usb loader + usb peripherals!)

PS: The Gamma version i uploaded with sdhc support shouldn't have problems with the rev9 cIOS and usb too.

  • RichardTheKing @ RichardTheKing:
From what I've heard about the Expansion Pack, the emulator used has some noticeable input delay and/or lag...would BLJs even be possible?

  • RichardTheKing @ RichardTheKing:
Apparently Nintendo adapted the 3D All-Stars emulator, instead of their old Virtual Console emulator - or, if nothing else, copying what fans have done.

from what i can seem to gather there's some issues but nothing dramatic enough to severely impact what you're playing

honestly the whole expansion pack confuses me since i thought the nes/snes games were just a neat little bonus
