Hacking How to return to the latest firmware and regain psn access?

Hey guys so i am done with my brothers PS4 i now have my own pro in 4.55

I want to gave the system back to him and he was able to update to the latest firmware however it seems that he cant gain access to the PSN store. i remember blocking the updates which we encounter a problem but we were able to solve it.

Is there something i am missing that i might need to undo ???
PS4 is now on 5.53

Check your ps4 network DNS make sure it is not on manual.

Did you use any kind of block xxxxxx payload while the system was hacked?

So you were able to update, but not get on PSN, has to be a DNS/Router thing, no need to init the HDD, if its updatable the update blocker has been removed, its just not accessing the sites.

TBH I hadn't thought about that.

Thats a fair point, but it still wouldnt solve his accessing of PSN if he blocked the addresses in is router or something.

Ummm should't he just remove the HDD and format it on a PC. Download the latest Firmware and install it via USB to start from a clean slate to avoid being banned?
