After reading this website and watch lots videos I installed hekate (use paperclip method) on my Switch (firmware 6.0.1) and everything worked out fine.

Then I thought I will put some rom on my SD card to test and see if it works, too. But after that I found out if I take out the SD card the system will restart again, hence the homebrew menu will stop working and I cant use Album to get into the menu anymore.

To try to get back to the homebrew menu, I tried to use the same method as I did before, I put the switch in recovery mode and then I try to inject the payload again, then the system boot up. It doest work.

So what is the proper way to get back into the homebrew menu after I restart the system?

    Thank you.
    Really appreciated.

Exactly what you did. Reflash payload and boot to CFW once more.

You need the SD card inserted before you boot up the switch. Or if it's already in, it's possible your SD card became corrupted from an improper removal (exFat?)
