Hacking how to remove glue from cheap screen protectors

My daughters DS phat had on a cheap screen protector (bought it used) and the top screen has glue around the edges. How can you safely remove it?

I'd say some kind of rubbing alcohol and soft cloth should do the trick nicely.

Just burn it off.

Use some olive or vegetable oil. Rub a little on there and let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off.

is it like crazy glue or like white glue or glue gun... Mostly the tape will work but... if ur not carefull or it's crazy glue u could crack the screen....
(not crazy glue 99.999999 chance of success and u have a daughter and ur an adult so i think u will be carefull)
