Hacking How to REencrypt a DLC CIA file that able to be installed in Gateway emunand?

Decrypted dlc cia can't be installed in gateway emunand, it showing up with a invalid cia
Using decrypt9 to encrypt it will showing up TMD file size/actual size mismatch then failed
Please help

Why are you using many years outdated software and complaining it doesn't have the latest research/bug fixes?

(You know my double entendre, but the first meaning is that D9 was replaced by GodMode9)

Sorry about that but I'm not consider to change other cfw(using GW so long and data convert would be a huge trouble)
Did you have some idea to do with the decrypted dlc file to GW? Thanks a lot

If you had proper custom firmware, this wouldn't be a problem as you could install a decrypted DLC *.cia file with the FBI app. I suppose you could hack your 3DS wth Luma, B9S, and GM9 and install the DLC on the EmuNAND, but at that point you're better off migrating your library and games to the SysNAND and HOME Menu. As was said not too long ago to another Gateway user from this thread, put that flashcart and its accompanying EmuNAND to rest.

You should have Luma3DS v9.1, boot9strap v1.3, and GodMode9 v1.7.1 installed on your SysNAND and SD card.

If you're coming from Luma3DS v7.0.5 or older (arm9loaderhax):

• A9LH to B9S

Check the integrity of DLC *.cia file

1. Turn on the 3DS and hold (Start) to access Luma3DS chainloader.
2. GodMode9 → 0:/.../<name of your DLC>.cia → press (A) → CIA image options...
   • If you do not see CIA image options, the file in question is either corrupt or not a real *.cia file.
3. ... → Decrypt file (...) → Decrypt inplace
   • File is not encrypted - Good. This means it is decrypted.
   • Anything else means it is encrypted. Whoever bought that DLC from the Nintendo eShop kept their legit ticket.
   • A title that's not made with Build CIA (standard) option is not universally installe-able or shareable.
4. ... → Verify file.
   • Verification success - This means the *.app contents within the DLC checks out.
   • Anything else means the DLC has mismatching hashes or is corrupt.

Install the DLC

5. You install the *.cia file with FBI, preferably on the SysNAND setup after ditching EmuNAND and the Gateway 3DS flashcart.

• If that app can't install your DLC, something might wrong with your SD card (ie, out of free space -or- fake capacity).
• If you're still on Gateway EmuNAND, and it's not working out for you, I can't help you with fraken firmware. You're on your own.
