    Hello everyone...

I imagine, you already saw this information:

    http://www.akaio.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=894&f=8

    or that

    http://www.akaio.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=871&f=8

But... I believe they are stupid, i cant say anything else!!!

Because if you want to know if you have the last AK2i or if you bought a fake,
you need to BREAK IT, if you want to see what is inside !!!

So, you will loose your warranty! [IMG] [IMG]

Please acekard team, think before asking people to check if you product is new or genuin [IMG]

Cant you do new Acekard 2i without any glue inside ?!

Hi, you must be new to flash carts!

Since this seems to be completely new to you and since it seems you're completely unaware, this is standard. The outside casings all look alike so it is often necessary to open up the flash cart to take a look at the PCB (printed circuit-board) to see what the internals look like.

You'll find this is the same with other flash carts that are commonly cloned, such as the DSTT...

    Have a nice day!

Yes but you can open without any damage:

    DSTTi
    iEDGE
    M3i Zero
    Supercard DSOne i
    DSTwo

Only EZVi and Acekard 2i cant be openend without any damages !!!

Because of the.... GLUE inside !!!

So if we need to damage our flashcard just to take a look,
wich "revision" it is or if it is an original or not = it's totaly STUPID !!!

    I'm with bitonio.

They should pop a screw on it.

I once ripped open an Acekard (a clone it turns out), and you can't get that sucker back together again in a way that looks "untampered with"

SOME people already cry over how 'thin' and 'cheap' the AceKard feels (I personally think it's just fine the way it is), adding a removable shell that is held in place with a screw is just bad news.
I made the mistake of popping my R4 (which has a screw) into a retail DS game case, when I went to take the R4 out I almost ripped the top and bottom apart and nearly stripped the screw hole. I actually did damage the screw hole a little bit and the screw wouldn't stay in tight anymore, thankfully a drop of superglue in the hole solved that (and the screw still worked).

But really, WHY do you need to get into the case?
There are other ways to verify if your card is real or a clone, bitonio is making it a bigger deal than it is.

Team Acekard should use an transparent Case and should Print the Revision on the back, an transparent Acekard would be cool, Acekard RPG transparent for example [IMG]

Yeah, I like transparent stuff. If I had the money to spare I'd totally get a transparent case swap for my PSP just to make it look badass. I mean I'm not one for bling, but it's the nerd in me that wants it.

i think it's a good idea, for ALL flashcard on the market!!!

With that it will be finished the FAKES, Finis all the doubts about the origin, the revision, everything!

To twiztidsinz = im a big fan of the Acekard TEAM,
i work with them in the past, i translate all the Acekard 2 page in French (on the official website)

So, im not here to do joke about it, it's real, they need to stop using GLUE !!!

Don't they have the new counterfeit code thing in place to check if it's a real or fake one?

Only $13 shipped and is the perfect case. Comes with everything, even clear analog.
    Feels perfect quality too.

I think I just found what I'm going to spend my 15$ on now [IMG]

EDIT: Also, can't you just try to see if AKAIO works on it and if it doesn't, it means it's a fake?

AKAIO isn't perfect. Sometimes it detects real cards as clones, however this is usually remedied quickly.

DX isn't bad i've orderered 4 DSi Batterys and those are great, DX have many good products, but 85% is trash...

Nu AK2i 3DS ready has better spring system than old 2i. It works much smoother than old one.
