Thanks to a person on projecthyrule.com that found this out!!

I confirm that naming ur SSID Bestbuy will give you the DLC

    Step-by-step walkthrough:

Change your SSID on your router to "Bestbuy" (US)
and if you're in Europe, change your SSID to: _The Cloud
(make sure the caps are like that - The SSID is case-sensitive.)

Make sure you can connect to it via your WiFi settings on the 3ds!!!

    NOT load up Nintendo Zone!!

Simply boot up Animal Crossing New Leaf and go to the post office ask for presents and get your ExclusiveDLC!

    Tested it and working great!!

List of Best Buy DLC offers:

    6/16-6/29 RACCOON WALL-CLOCK
    6/30-7/13 CAT TOWER
    7/14-7/27 SUITCASE
    7/28-8/10 DOUBLE NECK GUITAR

!Sadly the Nintendo zone app not connect with the trick however so no delay Streetpass data, so no street pass for me! But it will get you the DLC and that is why you was reading this ;)

Can I encrypt the Wi-Fi network with a WPA2 key? And does this work with a European version?

Generally, none of the Spoofing will work on encryption. Mac Address filtering works, though.

Yes you can encrypt the Wi-Fi network with a wpa2 key like you will need to connect via your WiFi settings on the 3ds!!! My was also wpa2 when I was doing this.

I updated it with the EU version.

There is no need to encrypt since the process only takes 5 mins but I see where it is convenient to just chance the SSID of the router and 3DS while keeping the same WPA key.
