Hacking How to play GBA cia on my N3DS?

i downloaded a gba title and installed the cia. As expected i got the error power off screen. Something about AGB_FIRM and installing the cia to emunand and sysnand. I've seen posts on how to do it but they're all confusing...Can anyone shed some light

Use Luma3DS cfw (it auto patch the agb firm), install the gba game cia on sysnand. Enjoy!

are you using luma3ds? if not there's your problem

I'm using Luma3ds and i installed the cia like i would any other cia in FBI. then i launched it in emu nand and got the error

you probabily patched it before in another installation (did you remember patching manually agb_firm)?

Hmmmm well i followed pliaect's guide up to part 4 step 28 https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-2-(Downgrading)
and that's all i did. right after that i just hopped on and started playing some 3ds cia
