Hi.

I extract a CIA (ShaunTheSheep15Videos.cia) and, for each episodes inside, there is some .bimg files, who are banner image:

1468494142-hexcode.png

1468431215-02.png
1468431215-03.png
1468431216-04.png

But I can't open, neither Every File Explorer or Ohana3DS (in the texture tab) can't open them.

So if someone of you know how to open this format, it will be appreciable if you let us know how.

Thanks.

I uploaded some samples here:

I guess I don't even know what is a thumbnail xD
Thumbnail = miniature picture = preview picture, etc

I think I know how to convert that to PNG (and reverse too), but I'm not home right now, so if you wait... [emoji14]

From 0x00 to 0x20 there is the header, which saves the width and height of the image and the format, then from 0x20 to the end I think it's the real raw image data

Do every file explorer shows an error when trying to open it, or it does nothing?

It looks like a bit map of some sort, possibly 16 bit color. Try playing around with yy-chr, to see which settings best display the image (it's great for 4bpp images, not sure about anything else).
