ROM Hack how to open 3ds **_LZ.bin files?

well im now getting in to the rom hacking scene and im coming across some _LZ.bin files. i was wondering if we can decompress those into readable files?

Yata is for themes, im not dealing with theme files im dealing with 3ds romfs files

Try Every File Explorer. Also it might depend on the game. I had to do extensive research to extract Bravely Default's files (one of the tools had even been removed from the forum for some reason).

every file explorer seems like it can understand the files, i can see the textures and see export and import options too. looks good for now, ill see if i can replace a resource and recompile the game and if it works.

no, not EFE but there is a tool that decompresses .bin, lz.bin etc. but it's built for "fire emblem if" only. I didn't know that so I removed the link and just put -snip- since I linked you to a tool that wouldn't work for these game files.
