Is this possible? I wanted to use some Witcher 3 mods but it requires placing files in sxos/titles which is stored on my emunand hidden partition.

Sxos titles is in your sd not in the emunand partition
It is not unfortunately. I’ve got no SXOS folder on my sd card whatsoever and I’ve got about 40 games installed... hence why I’m asking. I even tried creating one to drop the Witcher mod bit that does not work either...

games dont install to that sxos/titles ... games are installed to the emutendo folder for emunand, and nintendo folder on sysnad.

If the mod didnt work, u copied/placed it wrong... will need to see screen of file directory

The mods must go in your titles folder
where is the titles folder? there is not one anywhere on my SD card... in Emutendo there is no titles folder
and the titleid of the folder you added to sxos/titles matches the titleid of the witcher 3 version you have installed?
yeah I have checked with goldleaf 0.7.3 that the witcher 3 version I have is indeed 010039400E8D6000

If you want to humor me, try using 01003D100E9C6000 instead and see if it works.

The stuff seems in the right place, only thing I can think of is the wrong tid since the witcher 3 has a few regional releases.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
