You'll need to get to Poni Island (edit: post elite four, heading to battle tree /edit),
and you'll bump into Sina/Dexio, they will give you Mega Stone to work with your Z-ring,
and Alakazite. Other mega stones seems to require to be purchased (battle tree)

After you become Champ, on your way to the battle tree, the assistents of the XY Prof, give you a keystone. then you can mega evolve
