Hacking How to make your SD card to EZ-FLASH OMEGA(DE) recovery-able?

There is a problem with your S71 chip.
Are you able to save games and save settings in OMEGA DE?
Both are written to the S71 chip, so there should be a problem.

I have the Omega card, not the DE. I had some problems with savings but I had some cheap SD card, now I'm using a good one and it works better. But sometimes I got some savings errors. "error creating saving file" or something like that in red letters.

At least now the saves don't get erased, with the other card the saves got corrupted someway.

If it's an OMEGA, there won't be a problem saving the game.
There will be problems with games on NOR FLASH and saving OMEGA settings.

I don't think there's a problem with S71's SRAM
I expect there will be a problem with S71's NOR FLASH.

The solution seems to be to replace it with another s71 chip.
ex) s71gl064a08, s71pl064j08

It's hard to get that chip.
If you're not confident with soldering
You have to leave it as it is.

Hi. I don't know what NOR FLASH is I just see that red letter message time to time when the card is creating the save file for the new open games.

Anyways, something is wrong with my card because yesterday didn't start again. This time I have used the recovery img from this very page, I hope this time it lasts.
