try USB Loader CFG by OggZee and when not recognized it still gives you 30 sec to re-initiateelbee said:I don't get the USB loader working with my FREECOM toughdrive 160GB. Got WBFS on the drive with my PC (hell of a job but eventually succeeded), added a iso, but can't use it on my wii. USB loader programs just freeze. Read the FAQs, searched my ass off but didn't found a solution.
What am i doing wrong ??
Data:
* WII 3.2E, HBC, rev10 cios, gamma loader, (no preloader, no cioscorp)
* FREECOM toughdrive 160GB with no external power.
* used original usbloader, GX one, beardface coverflow, all freeze.
* diskled just lights up constant when connected to wii
* tried both usb ports
Try http://tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/Fat32Formatter/ or a commercial product, such as Partition Magic.ju421019 said:I have Western Digital 500GB Elite drive.
How do I format it to Fat32? I only get the NTFS option.
Also - will this drive work fine/comptible?
thanks
good luck and post back please , by the way this will not brick your WiiPyrofyr said:Hmm, so I'm getting mixed messages here, I should do the following:
(I currently have all 200GB in WBFS)
Delete the whole partition that's 200GB
(Now everything is empty)
Create a 32GB partition at the front(Format it to Quick FAT32)
Make the rest into a primary drive but without formatting, and then go into WBFS Manager to make it a WBFS partition?
Sounds like what my original plan was to do it anyway, so hopefully that is ;]
Right now I'm worried about getting devkitpro hooked up as it was causing problems, so I'll be checking back here for responses before I try it (and accidentally kill my Wii)
Haha, doesn't matter if I brick it, I have 2 anyway :/

Please Note: This is a permanent feature of all our external hard drives and cannot be disabled."
