ok so, i bought an 8 gb usb stick so i can play wii games
i decided to put ssbb since i failed burning it
i trimmed the iso so it could fit with wiiscrubber
but now my memroy stick(has 7,82 gb of space) cannot accept my 7,12 gb ssbb iso
can i remove more of the filesize
did i get scammed and got a usb stick with less than 8 gb storage?
thanks

I also think it's caused by the drive being in FAT32-partition.

That's okay, though. Managers like wii backup manager will split the file in two parts and put them in the correct position so up to date usb loaders can find (and play) the game. Which one would you be using, by the way?

While it is possible to trim more of the game, I wonder if you really want that...you'll miss parts of the game (for SSBB, I know there is a trimmed version floating on the internet that has every movie trimmed out and replaced by 1 and the same one, resulting in a game that's roughly half the size).

Every file system API has a set limit on the maximum file size that a single file can be. Your USB stick is most likely formatted to FAT, which only allows a maximum of 4gb per file.

Telling us what exactly the error says (if any) would help.
it says that there isn't enough memory in the stick
anyway i'll try the manager and tell you if i suceed
edit:it's transferring

here are the stats of a scrubbed and splitted ssbb.wbfs:
Code:
-rw-r--r--ÂÂ1 m7 m7 2950725632 2011-06-06 23:42 ssbb.wbf1
-rw-r--r--ÂÂ1 m7 m7 4294934528 2011-06-06 23:42 ssbb.wbfs
Total about 7245 MB == 6910 MiB

Know offense but you should just by an external hard drive. one usb stick for 1 wii is kinda lame. U could use that usb for portable apps and games.

I agree...in an economic view also not worth it.
