Hacking how to make a rom work on my dstt?

I AM NOT ASKING FOR ROMS.

i am just asking what do i do to get my downloaded rom to my dstt card, and work!

im a bit of a noob when it comes to this kind of stuff and just need a somewhat detailed explanation on what to do. (im on a mac, if that changes anything)

get latest RetroGamerFan files and apply to SD card

should allow for most of the latest games to work

sorry, i was unclear before. :S

I just downloaded a pokemon rom from another site, and its in a .rar format. i have no clue what to do to make it a proper format and make it work on the dstt card

google winrar or 7zip, download one of them and install

open the .rar file, extract the .nds file onto your microsd card, which you then put into your DSTT, and into your DS

.rar is like a ZIP file

get WinRar, 7-Zip or latest WinZip and you will be able to extract the .nds

sometimes they have more .rar files inside so you have to keep extracting until you get to the .nds/.3ds

download and install WinRAR (or 7-Zip) Install that and extract the file. It should be a file that ends in .nds and that's the rom you need to run
