Hi, any idea about this ?

I've made a backup of my full sd card, formated it to exfat, but when loading SX OS I get a green screen or it doesn't find games.
when running the CFW FS_XXX, it asks for an update for the SD card, is it safe ?

The exfat support isn't included when updating to 5.1 this way ?

Greetings, I already used this method to upgrade from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1, and it worked well. So last night, I decided I would try to go from 3.0.1 to 5.1.0, got the update from xbins, and followed the procedure to install it from this tutorial. When I booted hekate_ipl at the end of the tutorial, all I get is a black screen, then I hold power to turn it off, I get a blue panic screen. I have restored my rawnand twice now, and it does the same, never booting. Any suggestions I hope I haven't bricked my console?

ChoiDujour 1.1.0 is out, now letting you choose which patches to apply to generated FS.kip1 (try out --fspatches=nocmac,nogc,nosigchk ;) )

After consulting with rajkosto this is operator error coupled with my shitty memory, everything I mentioned was caused by my own mistakes.

Tested this tutorial followed the steps worked as it should
i went from 5.1.0 to 4.0.1 loaded via the bootloader, and i was also able to use system update from cfw 4.0.1 to update back to 5.1.0 with no issues.
I downgraded to 4.0.1 because every time i hit sleep mode or the switch auto sleeps
it wakes up instantly, then throws a error 2113-0112 and asks to restart,i thought it maybe a bug in firmware/systemupdate but this method didn't help me fix this..

Whilst im talking about it does anyone have a clue or how to fix said issue of not being able to use sleep mode its driving me fcking nuts
Only option i believe i have is nintendo repair out of warranty get charged ridiculous price

Remove that key from your key file.

I deleted the whole line for that key, it seems to have worked. You're sure it's safe?

because you didnt delete exfat marker savedata file mentioned in the guide ? do it now, then clear out the pending update by going to maintenance mode and powering off

STEP 6: ACQUIRE A FULLY POPULATED hactool KEYS file
It will need to be able to decrypt the NCAs of the firmware version you are installing
As well as have the XCI keys if you are going to be using an cart image as the firmware source

I don't understand? Where do you find this?

except getting the firmware folder, it automates all the other steps in the guide yes (sadly its not possible to generate modified FS.kip1 with it though, so you will have to make those with ChoiDujour on PC still)

rajkosto thank you for this tutorial. I was able to successfully update from 4.1.0 to 5.1.0 without burning any fuses.

I have the physical version of Octopath. I understand that the game card slot is unusable because it hasn't been updated.
Is there a way I can play Octopath? I assume the firmware of the GC slot cannot be modified?

since you had 4.1.0... your gamecard controller is already 4.0.0 firmware... so just stop using the _nogc.kip1
