Hacking How to ID if arm9loaderhax or B9S was used for the hack?

Been out of this scene for awhile but jumping back in with some free time opening up, I recently got a N3DSXL with a FW 11.5. My friend has a old 3ds he hacked awhile back and I am gonna do the transfer method to get mine hack. How can I ID if arm9loaderhax or B9S was used?

Look on the root of the SD card. If it has arm9loaderhax.bin and the Luma version is v7.0.5 or below, you have arm9loaderhax. If a boot.firm is there and the Luma version is v7.1 or above, you have boot9strap.

A better way is to hold Select on boot and see it the version is 7.0.5 or below (A9LH) or 7.1 or above (B9S). There could be wrong files on the SD card (eg if arm9loaderhax.bin is on the CTR-NAND and the user tried a failed Luma update which put boot.firm on the SD card, but it isn't used).
