Hacking How to get Ultimate Mortal Kombat working with firmware v1.10.

Here's how to get "Ultimate Mortal Kombat" for the Nintendo DS to work with TTDS firmware version 1.10:

Requirements:
> Nintendo DS System
> TTDS Cartridge w/ microSD card
> TTDS Firmware version 1.10
> .NET Framework Version 2.0
> Ultimate Mortal Kombat rom (DO NOT ask me for this, you have to find it on your own)
> TTDS_Game_Fix.zip (Provided below...)

1. Download this: TTDS Game Fix
This .ZIP file contains the necessary materials to convert the game into a playable rom.

2. Open TTDS_Game_Fix.zip

3. Place NDS rom in the "DSLazy" folder.

4. Highlight "arm7.bin" file and copy it.

5. Open DSLazy folder and run DSLazy.exe

6. As soon as the application launches, search for the rom using the "..." button at the top left.

7. After you've found it, press "nds unpack".

8. Paste the "arm7.bin" and allow it to be overwritten.

9. Go back to the "dslazy" application and press the "nds packer" button.

10. Save your new .nds file as "Ultimate Mortal Kombat.nds"

11. Put the new rom into your card and start the game.

12. Enjoy!

NOTE: It might also help to turn DMA Mode to "on".

It's almost the same procedure you would use if you were to convert the rom for the MMD (Max Media Dock). There are a few tutorials over the internet showing how to do this, but I excluded the parts that had to do with MMD. This "TTDS_Game_Fix.zip" took me a while to find, but I also deleted the files inside that aren't necessary and changed the name so it's specifically for the TTDS. So to answer your question, I'm not exactly sure how it works, or why it works, but it might have something to do how the "arm7.bin" packed into Ultimate Mortal Kombat/Incredible Hulk ROM can't be read by the TTDS because it's different from all the other ROMs out there; different coding if you will.

I know this doesnt help anyone much but i have been using 1.10 since it came out and i can play 100% of my games perfectly. Ultimate M kombat works fine, just tried hulk and it crashes with "patch errcode=-7" . Its fails even with YSMENU.

Just downloaded 1.11 firmware for ttds and hulk works now
