Hacking How to get Stardew Valley Local Coop working? (It asks for a Nintendo account link))

I'm trying to figure out how to get local coop working. I have two nintendo switches both running SX OS 2.6.2 Beta, one is on ofw 5.1.0 and emunand 7.0.1 and the other is ofw 7.0.0 and emunand 7.0.1. The 5.1.0 switch has a linked nintendo account but the other 7.0.0 switch does not. The local coop boots fine on 5.1.0 switch but the 7.0.0 switch prompts to link nintendo account.
