So... it's december 31st, 3:14PM and i am bored as hell. So here is a little story for yall (inspired by the "how to get rid of homeless cat" thread)
So there once was this homeless dog (a she) who came out of nowhere once upon a time and decided it was a good idea to hang around our home. At first, we did not pay her much attention, thinking that her decision to settle around the surroundings of our house would result ephimeral. Oh boy, were we wrong.
We took a liking to her, my mom even named gave her a name: Maruka. She is kinda cute, most people would consider her to be pretty ugly, but i always thought of her as an adorable dog. In time, her obsession came to such an extent that she would (with a lot of work) try to squeeze herself into our property through the barred protection that encircled the perimeter of our house. She so desperately wanted to have a place to belong to, so we let her stay with us. When we would feed our dog, we would split his share with her.
It was the end of august. She started to get horny and as a result every darn dog who would pass by our street would immediately get attached to her, waiting like savage hyenas for her to stand up in order to "you know what", so we decided to throw her out of our property since the other stray dogs started to think of our house as a motel and began to slip into our house with a desire to bang her comparable to her being the last female-dog remaining in the whole world. They used to get in and fight in the backyard of our house for the right to "Do it" to her. My dog also participated in this atrocity, but always got thrashed.
11 were the dogs after her. She would attract them like bees to honey. It was funny and annoying at the same time. Dogs fighting for her, barking, imploring her to get up her ass and stand up. They would follow her anywhere, anytime, like hellbats.
Fastforward to about two months. She gave birth to seven puppies. I could only think: "is this providence?!" " i love final fantasy seven and she gave birth to SEVEN DOGS" "How cool is that!" Ahem! errrr, ok. Geek mode off. So i loved them dogs like they were my own children: i would feed them milk when the useless mother would go off to other places to look for food, often intruding into other people's homes; i would also herd them when i saw them get too close to the streets so that they would not get ran over by a car;i got them a box they could use as a house in case it was raining, you name it. I loved those little bastards.
So... with time things started to get annoying. Bastard mother would go out at all times leaving the dogs , and i could not be onto them at all times. So we decided to give them to people. I managed to give one of them to one of the delivery guys working at a market near us. But soon things began to get ugly. They just wouldnt stay put if they saw their mother go out into the streets and as such they followed her. You could see me at 11:00Pm, on the street, picking them up and putting them into a box so that they would not go out.
Try as i might, i just couldnt keep them in. One day i found two of them sleeping in the middle of the street. I got close to pick them up when i realized they were long dead. Kind of sad, the two of them were sleeping right next to each other, as if offering each other body heat to stay warm, at the time when a car came by and ran over the two of them.
About two weeks later, another one died while taking a nap on the street. I came to hate the mother; before the deaths i tied her up to a tree so that she would not go out and leave them alone, but my dad pitied her and set her free everytime. Remaining three dogs are missing, do not know where they are. Presumably, someone took them, at least that is what i want to think.
So here it is, to the memory of my dogs, may you rest in peace to those who died, and godspeed to those missing.
P.S: Maruka does not stay at my house anymore after we threw her out for contaminating our dog with the T-virus she contracted from another stray dog i named Carcoma (Carcoma means "Woodworm" in english). Now she looks like one of those zombie dogs from resident evil. I do not see her very often.
