You can use gc controller for wii game only by purchasing 3rd-party party adapter that plugs into wiimote. This way console thinks that it's a CCP, but there doesn't seem to be a workaround for the ZL button.
How do you plan to play Project M without a Wiimote when all the peripherals officially supported by vWii use the extension port of it? It won't work with the GC adapter.Sorry for the bump, but was there anything new about this? I didn't seem to find any option that would allow me to navigate in USB Loader GX without a wiimote...
I can borrow wiimotes temporarily if I need to configure stuff, but the only Wii game I'm interested in is Project M (so it plays fine without a wiimote) so it would be really stupid to need a wiimote only to navigate into USB Loader GX when I don't need one to get to USB Loader GX and I don't need one after getting out of it either...
Or is there an alternative to USB Loader GX that supports something else? I use Nintendont for GC games but I'd like Project M too...
Well I don't know, I guess it was part of my questionHow do you plan to play Project M without a Wiimote when all the peripherals officially supported by vWii use the extension port of it? It won't work with the GC adapter.
Wiimote + Classic Controller Pro is the preferred way, I suppose.Well I don't know, I guess it was part of my question
You're basically saying "GC adapter support in USB Loader GX is useless because Project M won't see that adapter anyway"?
Well then, how do people play that game on vWii? With wiimotes??
Or maybe they don't play that game on vWiiWiimote + Classic Controller Pro is the preferred way, I suppose.
Personally I just use whatever I have on hand. Wiimote + Nunchuck if that's all I have, never Wiimote only as I usually have a Wiimote + Nunchuck in my bag so I just use those. These days I usually use my NES30 Pro instead, it works as a Classic Controller without needing a Wiimote, it also works as a Wii U Pro Controller.
yeah basicaly you cant use the wiiu gc adapter on any wii game or even on wii game mods like ssbb, you can use it for nintendont and ssbm but that is about it, besides nintendont no app/wii game or loader support the wiiu gc adapter, your best bet is buying those CC that resemble GC controllers or simply buy a gc adapter to wiimote from mayflash wich turns your gc controller into a CC.Well I don't know, I guess it was part of my question

But this would mean I'd need a Wiimote to plug my controller into, right? That's a problem, I don't have any. And I can't have one more than temporarily (don't ask, at some point there is no logic at all and it's not my choice -.-).yeah basicaly you cant use the wiiu gc adapter on any wii game or even on wii game mods like ssbb, you can use it for nintendont and ssbm but that is about it, besides nintendont no app/wii game or loader support the wiiu gc adapter, your best bet is buying those CC that resemble GC controllers or simply buy a gc adapter to wiimote from mayflash wich turns your gc controller into a CC.
controller inis are for nintendont alone and not for wii games, again wii games only support wii controllers and nothing else sadly, why not buy a knockoff wiimote on ebay for like 8$ with delivery? lol its preety damn cheap nowadays. But this would mean I'd need a Wiimote to plug my controller into, right? Or I read stuff about some controller.ini file (which seems to be for Nintendont, not USB Loader GX) and some work that was done towards HID controllers at some point. Did any of this come to fruition? Or is it really Wiimote and Wiimote-extensions exclusive?![]()

you cant use vwii at all without a wiimote so yeah your stuck unless you get a wiimote.Well that's sad...

Nope. I said I could borrow one, and I already did. Now I use hbl2hbc and wiiu2hbc to boot forwarders on vWii so I can get into Nintendont and USB Loader GX (useless without a wiimote...) from the Wii U menu without any wiimote. So I can play Gamecube games with Nintendont at least, but nothing more I guess.you cant use vwii at all without a wiimote so yeah your stuck unless you get a wiimote.
still i dont get why someone wouldnt want to buy a chinese knockoff wiimote close to nothing instead of keep boring wiimotes for eternity lol.Nope. I said I could borrow one, and I already did.
