The items they produce get really tedious (othen annoying.) It's nothing new.

Nintendo needs some new ideas.

So a game that is not much different to a 15 year old game, an 18 year old game on many platforms, a 16 year old game on many platforms, a game that is practically unchanged in between 18 and 20 years depending upon how you want to view it.

SSB4 is very different from SSB64, and I agree with you on everything else.

There are good games like Dual Destinies and Fire Emblem Fates, too.

I said 15 years which would be melee (you got old). 64 was 99 so 17 years and yeah I would agree it is different to all that followed, recognisably similar but melee does seem to be the source from which all else was derived. Or if you prefer if you are good at melee then you can pick up and be almost as good as any that followed, and possibly as good two matches later when you learned the altered character moves (Link's downward slash not being as powerful sort of thing) being good at 64 does not carry you so well (something I saw time and time again for melee and the following titles).

On the others then is it anything I could not get on the DS, or if I can leave the touchscreen controls then GBA? I am not even talking about programming them (though I would go there shortly after that discussion gets going) but actually sitting there with libraries in front of me. I will grant that newer fire emblems are somewhat different to the older ones (though still nothing I enjoy despite liking loads of other games in the same gameplay style http://gbatemp.net/threads/on-the-hunt-for-a-new-tactics-strategy-rpg.404951/ ).
